What is the difference between JetDrive Lite and a normal SD card? Is it safe to store data in a JDL?

Category : Specification / Capacity / Performance
Main differences:
- JetDrive Lite (JDL) is NOT an SD card.
- JDL can sit flush and seamless in the compatible MacBook models
- JDL uses MLC flash chips instead
- Saving data in a JDL is as safe as in an SSD. However, same as all data storage devices, it is recommended to do regular backups on another device.
